During the world financial crisis on 2008, it was rather tough for all of us. It was weirder for me. I lost my internet and cable connections making me idle and focus on , err, nothing. I never got to visit spots around Pico, and never had anything to want to do. I was just stocked up and stacking bigger.
Until the christmas holidays when I saw how Baguio never changed. The prices of goods went up, up, up though. I was then eying a pair of shoes made from China at there cheapest rate then of 300 pesos. I just pass them then saving on money for a quality and more expensive shoes. Only to find out that during the financial crisis that affected the world, prices unknowling by me were racking up. Hmmm.
After Christmas, I met up with highschool friends that mirrored how pity i became. They taking care of families and jobs when i rant on my almost abandoned blog. (And hopefully i could revive it this year.) That was 2008 with problems everywhere. Imploring another big blow when one of my high school friends who relayed to me how he can't finish his degree because her sister couldn't send him through college. Playing around in college, i dropped during the midterm exams. To be associated with another college dropout -- Erap-- is good but really embarassing.
2009
Comes 2009 when the world is trying to recover from the financial crisis that supposedly cannot affect the Philippines, untill the OFW were forced to go home. Every factory in every country are laying off workers to survive the economy. Now, i don't know why Israel is bombing Gaza strip.
My surprise for this year is opening a friends account on friendster and greatly dismayed of not invited to join a call center training when I had been announcing i needed a job because blogging will not support any of my thirst. Yay. Call centers as well as of now are not hiring many agents.
I got to speak with my friend and the training she attended was free from the President, I would've wanted that. Maybe there's another one for me.
